The environment is clean, no pets and no smoking.

No strong-scented or aerosol cleaning products

Linens are washed with minimal low suds and low
fragrance soap.

Linens are rinsed twice. The first rinse has vinegar
added to the rinse.

All linens are dried in the dryer with drier balls
to soften linens or line dried.

No fabric softeners are used.

Bed linens include cotton-polyester or 100% cotton
sheets, hand-made quilts made of cotton/polyester or 100% cotton
with polyester batting.

There are a variety pillows including hypo-allergenic.

Pillow cases are ironed but not starched.

Air-conditioning in summer, sometimes open windows,
a few house plants help maintain quality air indoors.

Most of the house has hard wood floors. We have
area rugs that are kept vacumed. We also have several rooms that
have carpet that is kept clean and is 3 years or older.

We do our best to accommodate special diets with
prior notice.

We ask guests not to wear perfume or use any items
with strong fragrance.
We are environmentally friendly to the degree that we use safe cleaners and
work toward creating a healthy environment. We do have carpets that are well
maintained without chemical cleaners. The furnaces are gas forced air. We can
accommodate some people with Environmental Illness or Multiple Chemical Sensitivities.
It is the responsibility of each person with environmental health problems when
making a reservation to be sure that it is suitable for them before making a
reservation. Our same cancellation policies apply to all guests.
